INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The “Personal Data Protection and Processing Policy” established by rekabetakademisi.com.tr, together with the information notices provided to data subjects, sets out explanatory information regarding the title of the company, the purposes for which the personal data of data subjects will be processed by the company, the persons to whom the processed personal data may be transferred and for what purpose, the method and legal grounds of personal data collection, and the rights of the data subject. The personal data processed in this context are processed lawfully and fairly, accurately and, where necessary, kept up to date; for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes; and in a manner that is relevant, limited and proportionate to those purposes, and all administrative and technical measures are taken in this respect.
rekabetakademisi.com.tr processes your personal data for the following purposes: carrying out corporate sustainability activities; managing relationships with suppliers; conducting personnel recruitment processes; performing internal audit activities and legal transactions; carrying out corporate governance and communication activities; managing requests and complaints; providing information to authorised persons or institutions as required by legislation; fulfilling the requirements of the Basic Law of National Education No. 1739 and the related legislation and acting in accordance with the rules of foreign language education courses; providing foreign language education services to students within the education programme; creating and monitoring student records; creating the lesson programmes and educational materials prepared by our instructors; delivering guidance services; operating the computer systems and programmes, the database and the mobile applications of our educational institution accurately, securely and soundly; updating and operating our website; performing and developing services relating to the education provided; conducting promotion, marketing and campaign activities for educational services and products; carrying out intelligence, information research, planning, statistics and customer satisfaction studies; recording, within the scope of marketing and advertising activities, video recordings, photographic images and examination scores of students for advertising purposes for the conduct of corporate sustainability activities, and sharing, updating, periodically checking and reorganising these on the rekabetakademisi.com.tr web page and on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and similar; retaining them for the period necessary for the purpose for which they are processed or for the period prescribed in the relevant law; providing you with better and more reliable service; and enabling these services to be maintained without interruption. Where any of the conditions set out in Law No. 6698 is not met during the processing activities carried out for these purposes, the explicit consent of the data subjects is obtained.

In relation to the personal data obtained by rekabetakademisi.com.tr, data subjects have the following rights under Article 11 of Law No. 6698: to learn whether personal data are processed; to request information if personal data have been processed; to learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether the data are used in accordance with that purpose; to know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred, whether in Turkey or abroad; to request rectification where personal data have been processed incompletely or inaccurately; to request the erasure or destruction of personal data within the conditions set out in Law No. 6698; to object to a result arising against the person themselves through the analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of the unlawful processing of personal data.
